Sabi, a bomb-sniffing labarador belonging to the Australian military was traveling with a joint Australian-Afghan army patrol in September 2008 when they were brutually ambushed in Afghanistan. During the fierce battle, which injured 9 members of the troop, Sabi disappeared. Months went by and there were no signs of Sabi, her unit feared the worst.
