Wubba is now approaching the end of the 5th week of being on Dauquin for Cats. I have still not noticed any side effects from the Dasuquin. I am also still continuing to sprinkle the Dasuquin onto the cat’s wet food they get every evening. There have definitely been some changes in his behavior recently, really just in the last 3-4 days. Twice this week my wife has caught him on the kitchen counter. This may not seem like a big deal at first. However, this was the first time we caught him on the kitchen counter in at least a year so I do not just think it is a coincidence. My theory is that his joints are now starting to feel better and therefore he is gaining back some confidence as it relates to jumping ability. It’s not just the kitchen counter either. He has been getting on the couch and bed almost every night this past week. This is not entirely unusual, however the frequency at which he has been doing so is.
I am not ready to call Dasuquin a miracle just yet. I would like to see these behaviors continue for a longer period of time before I make any final judgements. Things are beginning to look promising though for the Dasuquin and Wubba.
This is about the time when the dosing directions state you can cut back to one capsule per day instead of two capsules per day. However, since the other two cats are also eating some of the wet food which contains the Dasuquin I am going to continue to give two capsules a day.
