Last week I reported on two inspriring stories involving lost dogs and their amazing reunions. This week there has been another amazing reunion, but this reunion involves a 4-legged animal of a different kind. Guacamole, a 4ft iguana, went missing nearly a week ago after escaping from his outdoor cage in the town of Richland, Washington. Once the Herrera family noticed he was missing they immediately began looking for Guacamole, posting signs and offering a $400 reward for his return. After a week of looking the Herrera family received a phone call from somebody who spotted a large iguana in a park nearby. Guacamole had only managed to make it about half a mile from the Herrera home. Other than being malnourished, Guacamole was just fine.
I guess happy endings come in all shapes and sizes and species.
