We have now been feeding Emma and Bosley Hill’s Prescription Diet j/d for about 1 month. This past Saturday we had a pool party with a lot of people over at the house. Naturally, the dogs get excited when a lot of people come over and they just go crazy. For a solid 5 hours Emma was swimming and chasing and wrastlin (that’s southern for wrestling) Bosley all over the place. It was by far the most activity she has had…well in as long as I can remember. Prior to starting the Hill’s Prescription Diet j/d there is no doubt in my mind she would have been stiff and sore that night and the next day.
After everybody left and the dogs began to settle down my wife and I paid close attention to Emma looking for any signs of stiffness, discomfort, etc. I fully expected that she would at least show some signs of these symptoms. Much to our surprise, nothing!
I am completely sold on this product. I know the “in” thing now is raw food diets but you would be hard pressed to ever convince me to try anything else because of the results I have witnessed firsthand with Emma.
I think this wraps up my review of Hill’s Prescription Diet j/d, at least on a weekly basis. I realize it must sound like I am being paid by Hill’s or I have some sort of vested interest but I assure you that is not the case, although if they want to pay me or send me free j/d I would not object.

Hi!
I have a couple of Bernese Mountain dogs who are the most special dogs!!! I was reading your reviews on J/D – Prescription Diet. I have now starting to feed my dogs this after my dog tore his ACL and surgery. I was wondering if you are still feeding this food and are still having good luck with it. Any advice would be so helpful. Thanks!
