Like most of you, I have never really thought much about the orange or blue bags I pick up my dog’s poop with. Picking up poop is not really high on my list of favorite things to do and I have yet to meet somebody who actually enjoys it. So when I was recently given the opportunity to test out the latest dog poop disposal bags from MetroPaws I decided it would be a good opportunity to expand my knowledge and expertise in the dog poop removal and disposal arena.
On a recent trip to the grocery store, my carbon footprint guilt persuaded me to purchase garbage bags made from recycled material. It seemed like a good idea to me, especially when you consider that it’s a trash bag and is going to end up in a landfill! The good people at MetroPaws have extended a similar concept to their latest dog poop bags. The new Poopy Packs is a fully degradable dog poop bag. So know you can rest easy knowing that all of those dog poop bags are going to have minimal impact on your local landfill and the environment.
Here are the basic stats of the Poopy Packs:
Like with the garbage bags, my one initial concern with the MetroPaw Poopy Packs was, are they going to hold up long enough to make it to the dumpster or garbage can? After putting them to the test with Bosley the 75 lb boxer and Emma the 85 lb Bernese Mountain Dog, I am happy to report that even though they seem a little thin they hold up as well as my previous dog poop bags.
We’ve already established that there is nothing fun or exciting about picking up your dog’s logs. However, if you are going to do it, you mine as well do it in style. The people at MetroPaws thought of that too and created stylish designs which are likely to get you and your dog added attention at the dog park.
If your like me, there has also been that occasion when you go to grab the dog’s leash just to realize that the dog poop bag holder is empty (thank you Randall’s for the plastic grocery bags). This brings me to an added benefit that MetroPaws.com offers. They offer an automatic poop bag subscription service to make sure you never run out of bags and they will ship the orders right to your home every month for free!
So to summarize, the MetroPaws Poopy Packs are degradable, stylish and have an available subscription service to ensure that you will never run out of bags again! I highly recommend visiting their site, metropaws.com, and give their Poopy Bags a try!
