BioArts International, the dog cloning service based out of Northern California, is calling it quits after 1 year and 5 cloned pooches. When BioArts began taking orders for cloning dogs in 2008 they were the first commercial dog cloning service in existence. Since going public with their service BioArts successfully delivered all 5 of the [...]

It has now been 8 weeks since Spaz received I-131 treatment to cure his hyperthyroidism. The first noticeable change was his behavior. His behavior prior to the treatment was much like that of a crackhead. He would be sitting relaxed one minute and then all of a sudden just take off running laps around the [...]

It has essentially been two months since we started Wubba on Dasuquin for Cats. Wubba is a 11yr old, slightly big-boned, snowed-out (that’s slang for white fur) strictly indoor cat. It has now been 6 full weeks since we began giving Wubba the Dasuquin for Cats. He is continuing to be more active and we continue to find him on elevated surfaces much more frequently than prior to starting the Dasuquin. Both of these are signs, IMO, that his joints are feeling better.

We were finally able to go pick up Spaz yesterday, 5 days after his I-131 injection. Much to my surprise he is not actually glowing in the dark. Apparently Spaz did not want to go #1 very frequently while he was at the clinic. Going #1 is primarily how the level of I-131 radiation is [...]
