$20,000 veterinarian bills, accidentally eating live animals, chasing feet and tails and keeping a poo inventory. This is just a snapshop of what I assure you is not your typical pet blog. These are the trials and tribulations of living with Emma, Bosley, Spaz, Wubba, Darsey and Chester or collectively referred to as “the zoo”. I am certainly not an animal behavior specialist and alas this blog is not about the psychology behind animal behavior or people –animal relationships. If you are looking for that approach there are a lot of good books I can recommend. Instead, I will share some of my real life experiences or lessons learned (mixed in with interesting pet news) and hope some aspects of my stories can be of use to you or at the very least be entertaining to you. Living with “the zoo” is truly a roller coaster ride; sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes truly puzzling but certainly never dull. So I hope you will follow along and feel free to leave comments or questions.
