Woman Suffering From Amnesia Can Only Remember “Bones”

In between posts I thought I would share an interesting story that displays the type of impact our pets are capable of having on us. The story has been in the Houston Chronicle this week. A few weeks ago this 34 year old woman walks into St. Luke’s medical clinic here in Houston with only a set of car keys on her. It appears she has been mugged or at the very least struck in the head. Turns out she is now suffering from amnesia as a result of her injury. She is refusing to see her family because she now has no recollection of them. The one thing she is able to recall, walking a brown-and-black dog named “Bones”. The chronicle is reporting that a couple found a dog matching her description in the same parking lot where they found her car.
